Here at Big Kid Circus, we have made various changes to ensure we can provide a safe event during COVID-19 times. All new steps are in line with current Government guidelines and requests from local authorities.

It is extremely important to us to keep our audience and visitors safe and we are thrilled to have been awarded the Visit England ‘We’re Good to Go’ Industry Standard mark. This verifies that Big Kid Circus meets the Government and public health guidance on COVID-19 and that we have all the required health and safety processes in place to ensure you have a safe and enjoyable visit.

We ask all our visitors to please respect COVID-19 guidelines and all measurements which are in place, as well as respect each other and staff. Please ensure you keep social distancing when on site at all times.

If you or your family have any signs of symptoms, we ask you to postpone your visit.

To avoid disappointment pre-book online, only a limited number of tickets will be available at the box office. You will also be asked to give your contact details.

Arrival

To help us maintain social distancing and ease customer flow, we ask you to arrive on site no earlier than 30 minutes before your chosen performance

Seating Capacity

We have reduced the seating capacity in the tent to make sure every group is kept safe in line with government standards for social distancing.

Rule of 6

With the legislative introduction of the “Rule of 6” Customers will only be able to buy a maximum of 6 tickets per transaction. Bookings will be sat socially distanced from each other. Customers are also now required to give contact details as part of Track & Trace.

Our Performers

To avoid any reservations you may have with regards to Social Distancing during the performance, our Artistes and crew have and are isolating together as a “pod” enabling them to interact and perform with each other.

Masks

In line with government guidelines we ask that all customers 12 and over wear face masks in our structures.

Entrance / Exits

We will be operating a one way system around the Big Top which will give you access to your seating section. We ask customers not to move freely around the Big Top once inside

Temperature Checks

All customers will be temperature checked on entrance to the venue, anyone registering a high temperature will be refused entry

If you feel unwell

If you have any of the symptoms associated with COVID-19 please do not attend the Circus.

Social Distancing / Signage

Signage has been put into place around the Big Top & Site area to help maintain social distancing and direct audiences around the area.

Enhanced Cleaning

The big top will be deep cleaned before and after each performance, with enhanced cleaning throughout the day.
